You may have seen my post a few weeks back about an amazing parenting bloggers’ event called BritMums Live, which takes place in London next year. I am absolutely thrilled and so excited to tell you I have found a sponsor for the event and will be working with a fantastic company next year with our new baby.
So, the big reveal: My sponsor for BritMums Live is…..
Turtle Tots offers unique and fun baby and toddler swimming classes which are not only progressive for baby, but also designed to promote fitness postnatally for Mum too (or Dads, of course!) I am so excited to be taking part in this fantastic programme once my baby arrives in the New Year and will be vlogging about our journey with Turtle Tots. It looks like a fantastic opportunity to meet new people, to bond with my new baby but also to have some time to consider my own health and fitness levels. The exercises can be adapted to suit individual ability levels and really help with toning the body after pregnancy. I also think it is really important to build confidence in the water with children from a young age – so this really is a perfect class for us to take. We have tried to take Ted swimming regularly since he was born and he absolutely loves to be in the water, it is great that he isn’t afraid and such a lovely thing for us to enjoy together as a family.
All Turtle Tots Teachers are highly qualified and trained with either the Amateur Swimming Association or the Swimming Teachers Association, and also hold lifeguard qualifications. They then go through the Turtle Tots training and most are parents to young children themselves, with a passion for teaching swimming to babies, toddler and parents. Turtle Tots has a strong and positive reputation and has been highly recommended to me by close friends, who’s swimming lesson is the highlight of their week. I absolutely can’t wait to get started! During the programme there is an opportunity for an underwater photo shoot too – I have seen some incredible shots of the momentous under-water swim and think it will be a great memory to keep.
Turtle Tots is continuously expanding and there are currently 44 licensees with a number of teachers and classes all over the UK and Ireland – why not take a look to see where your nearest class is? They also offer aqua-natal yoga classes for mums-to-be, so if you are looking for a gentle and low-impact form of exercise during your pregnancy, this is perfect!
I am so delighted to be representing Turtle Tots at BritMums Live in 2016, and can’t wait to share the experience with you all. Who else will be there?
