I have compiled my first ever wish list after a spot of window shopping for…. myself!
I love looking at other people’s wish lists and thought it would be a nice idea to create one with a new mum in mind. Often after giving birth the focus is mainly on the new baby, which is of course very lovely, but new mums need a little bit of TLC too. I have created a wish list of things that would brighten my day after giving birth…. whenever that may be!

I have seen this stuff in a few supermarkets and think it looks delicious, and perfect for a tired out mum – instant coffee with a twist of interesting flavours. What I like about these is they are sugar free, and a more interesting way to get your much needed caffeine hit.
I am in love with anything from Burt’s Bees. They offer a range of skin care products and cosmetics which are as good for the planet as they are for your skin. My favourite products are their lip balms and their cleanser and toner. Everything they make smells divine and feels really luxurious!
I have been eyeing these up for quite some time now. I love the simple design, the element of comfort but also the powerful title that ‘Mother’ provides. I would wear one of these with pride. What’s more, all profits made in the sale of these garmets go to Women for Women International, a great charity that helps women rebuild their lives in war torn countries.
My favourite perfume of all time. I wore this on my wedding day and have a bottle for special occassions – gone are the days when I can afford to have it for every day! But it is a special scent to me and makes me feel very happy!
I absolutely love the concept of a subscription box. There is nothing better than getting some surprise treats in the post. Glossybox is the leading beauty box service, which sends make-up, hair and skincare must haves straight through your letter box. A lovely treat to brighten anyone’s day, especially a worn out mummy.
These gorgeous personalised necklaces would make the perfect gift for any new mum. I particularly like this family tree style necklace that you can personalise with all the names of your family and even a birth stone gem.
An Instagrammers dream! I think these are such a great idea and can be used as an alternative to milestone cards to document events and life with a new baby. You can create any message you want to go alongside your new family snaps. Say cheese!
I am a big CK fan and I love a good mug, so this is a winning combo for me. Everyone knows that to finish a whole cup of tea as a new mum is a real achievement, and this just might help you do that. Alternatively, it is perfect for the days when you need to get out the house – baby in the pushchair and coffee in hand. You deserve it.
It is suggested that when visiting a family with a new baby, you come laden with healthy, wholesome meals. If you come with an assorted dozen, I will love you forever. Particular favourites are Reece’s Peanut Butter and Strawberries & Kreme. *drools*
