Review: Organix Goodies

We were absolutely delighted to join the review team for Organix and get to try out some of the delicious snacks from the Goodies range. Organix was already a brand I knew and trusted as Ted already ate lots of things from their range, but we hadn’t tried most of the things we were sent. I am always on the look out for good quality and nutritious snacks for Ted, and this really to meet that criteria. I love for him to try new things – new textures, flavours and ways of eating, so these were just perfect! Here is what we tried and what we thought of them:

Apple and Orange Soft Oaty Bar

These were individually wrapped, moist oat bars – perfect for breakfast or on the go. Ted really loved these – he loves fruit of any kind so they were perfect for him. I often gave him one of these after he had eaten his porridge in the morning to give me some more time tidying the kitchen, but he ate them so fast! I will definitely buy these bars again – watch out for the crumbies though!

Carrot Stix

These were already a firm favourite in our house! The bag size is really generous so I would give him a handful as part of his lunch, and then clip the individual bag closed to save them for the next day (and the next!) Toddlers absolutely love this crunchy texture and it is great for those first stages of self feeding. He always eats every last one I give him, and if he is having a fussy-eating day, these are my go-to as I know he will eat them.

Chunky Banana & Date Fruit Bar

My little monkey is nuts about bananas! I hadn’t seen this product before but instantly knew he would love it. These were probably his favourite out of all the goodies we tried. Lovely, squidgy bars that break down into smaller segments, perfect for little hands. I hadn’t given him dates before, but he loved this combination and ate every last bit. These individually wrapped bars were great for popping in his lunch box and are on my shopping list to stock up for some more!

Mini Cheese Crackers

Again, these came in a generously sized individual bags which lasted more than one sitting. I put these baby bite-sized crackers in Ted’s lunch box with small bits of ham and cheese and he devoured the lot! I always had a bag of these on me for times when he needed a snack on the move, they were just perfect. It was really reassuring knowing about Organix’s “No Junk Promise” and I was really pleased when I read through the ingredients list – there was nothing unnecessary for me to worry about. Another hit for us!

All of the products are packaged really nicely with the nutritional information clear and easy to find. Whilst they seem a ‘fun’ product coming in brightly coloured packets, Organix are serious about better food choices and healthy snacks for little ones. I absolutely love this brand and having the opportunity to try new products has only made me like them more – I will definitely continue to buy these snacks for Ted.

I couldn’t write my review without mentioning the adorable backpack we got sent as part of our review pack from Skip Hop (Available in the UK from John Lewis)  – it is so cute! The perfect size and Ted looks so grown up when he wears it. We have used it every day since we got it, and now I want to buy all the matching products to go with it!

*DISCLAIMER* – We were kindly sent these products by Organix for review purposes, however all words and opinions are my own.
